The question I asked my friends was to think of the objects or ideas that you associate with the color purple. And with all the answers I got, I wanted to create a poem with the title, “Purple Around Me”. Grapes, Lavender, and Blueberry were somewhat expected answers, but the most unique ones in my opinion were My room and Taco Bell. My friend who said My room told me that her room is decorated with purple light and purple posters since it is her favorite color. Another friend who said Taco bell told me that he just had taco bell for his lunch so that was the first thing that he thought of when I asked about the color purple. I did not really assemble them in a specific order. Instead, I just wrote them down in my notebook as soon as I heard the answers. Some of them gave me the same answers, especially grapes. So for the words that were given more than one time, I added x number next to them. However, most people gave me different answers to my question and I thought that it was quite interesting to see how people think differently about the color Purple.
